Role & Responsibilities
The Manager shall be responsible for supporting senior leadership in execution and coordination of IT and e-Governance initiatives, ensuring smooth operational implementation and effective stakeholder engagement. The role involves project planning assistance, documentation, vendor coordination, and monitoring of execution activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in planning and coordination of IT and e-Governance project activities, ensuring alignment with approved project objectives and timelines.
- Liaise with vendors, consultants, Government departments, and internal teams to facilitate smooth execution of project tasks.
- Prepare project-related documentation including technical specifications, tender documents, reports, and official correspondence.
- Track project progress, milestones, deliverables, and vendor performance, and flag deviations for timely corrective action.
- Support procurement and tender processes through preparation of bid documentation, technical evaluation assistance, and record maintenance.
- Maintain project records, compliance documentation, meeting minutes, and progress reports for audit and review purposes.
- Support installation, testing, commissioning, and rollout of IT systems, ensuring adherence to defined technical and quality standards.
- Represent Punjab Infotech in project meetings, coordination sessions, and departmental discussions as required.
- Provide operational and logistical support during system deployments, training sessions, and organizational digital initiatives.
Essential Experience
Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience in IT project execution, system implementation, software delivery, or digital governance operations.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in handling public-sector or Government IT initiatives.
- Working knowledge of procurement and tendering procedures.
- Strong drafting, documentation, and reporting capabilities.
- Effective communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
